Sakura

“Sakura” marks a shift toward more figurative work. Using my self-built plotter, I explore new ways of working with a brush, focusing on the stroke itself.

The machine follows a complex path generated through my own G-code, translating the intricate form of a sakura tree into movement. This natural subject contrasts with the rigid logic of the system—an unexpected tension that drives the work.
